The inaugural Tapestry of Black Voices Awards marked the beginning of Conversations in Color’s mission to recognize authentic community voices. Rather than focusing on celebrity influence or social media popularity, TBVA celebrates conversations that preserve local history, inspire thoughtful dialogue, and reflect the lived experiences of Black communities across America.
