About the 2026 Awards
The second annual Tapestry of Black Voices Awards continued Conversations in Color’s mission of recognizing authentic community voices. Rather than focusing on celebrity influence or social media popularity, TBVA celebrates conversations that preserve local history, inspire thoughtful dialogue, and reflect the lived experiences of Black communities across America.
